This is a lovely, very stylish doeling. Her dam, Kricket, has a lovely udder, but unfortunately with only a single kid she's gotten uneven, and will miss show season this year. Kricket is the last daughter of the great WIllow Creek Bonehead, our foundation doe and cornerstone of our herd. Kricket is a 3/4 sister to MCH Flat Rocks Surprise *D, and has continued that line's tradition of excellence. Kricket is a very small doe, standing only Crossed to Minstrel Show we expect great things from this baby as well. Priced at $450

This baby girl is bred to the hilt! We purchased her dam back from another breeder, and we are SO happy that we did! Her udder is outstanding in every sense of the word! It's attached everywhere, with beautiful plumb teats, MSL and laterals. We're thrilled that she has rejoined our herd! Combined with Minstrel Show, we expect great things from this doeling, and parting with her is a very difficult decision. This kid is only two days old, and already long as a freight train, level, with great length and levelness of rump. We're very impressed by this breeding, and will repeat it. This baby girl should excel in the show ring and the milk pail.

These two girls are very dairy, and very striking. Their dam has one of the top udders in our herd. Unfortunately we didn't raise her, so she's a complete nut, and it's unlikely she'll ever see a show ring. For that reason, these baby girls have been pulled to be bottle babies so they will have a sweet and outgoing disposition. They are both long, level, and wide already, with tremendous dairy character. They have the dynamite front end assembly that Minstrel Show kids are noted for, and terrific udder potential. Another MCH FR Surprise *D/MCH PE Minstrel Show line cross, which has been VERY successful for us.
Both SOLD
Thanks Tom!

This breeding represents some dynamite foundation blood! Not only is their dam, FR Brown Eyed Girl, a lovely doe with a beautiful udder in her own right, she's a direct granddaughter of the great Goodwood Z Ali Baba ++*S, who stands behind so many of our Champions today. On the top side, these girls are granddaughters of MCH Flat Rocks Surprise *D, a tremendously influential doe, and a Z Ali Baba granddaughter herself. . These girls are extremely correct, and already showing us tremendous elegance and style. They are rather plain in the color department, but should make up for it in the udder department! Combining the bloodlines of Surprise and her son Gem, to the older Glady's Porter Zoo animals has been another dynamite cross for us. We've looked forward to a Browny daughter for many years, and one of these girls will be retained. We'll let buyer have first pick, as we just can't decide between them! This will likely be the last Gem daughter offered in 2005, and at 9 years old, there probably won't be many more.

Boy were we shocked at quad bucks! After quite an adventure untangling them we were able to sort them out, and are pleased that all came through their ordeal with flying colors. This boys are heavily line bred on the great Goodwood RA Kingwood. Their dam, Goodwood Gretta, is herself line bred on Kingwood, being out of a Kingwood son bred to a Kingwood daughter, and their sire, MCH FR Fox Fire "E" is himself a Kingwood grandson. So lots of Kingwood and Raising Arizona in these boys! We've been very impressed with our Kingwood animals, and feel they have crossed very, very well into our own bloodlines. Their dam, Gretta, excels in teat size, placement, and orifice. She also has a lovely shape to her udder, with nice MSL, and a well extended, smooth fore. Gretta has done well in the ring for Steele Ballew Farm, and we look forward to showing her ourselves. This is an excellent opportunity to add some Raising Arizona and Kingwood to your herd!

Another stunner! This kid combines some of our favorite bloodlines, that of MCH FR Surprise *D, MCH PE Minstrel Show, Willows Gin Rummy, and our own Glady's Porter Zoo Leprechaun. His dam, Wishbone, is every bit as nice as her two sisters that reside at Flat Rock Farms, FR Celebration, and FR Dot Com. Another buck bred to excel in the show ring, the breeding pen, and the milk pail. In the tradition of FR Gem daughters, his dam excels in MSL, lateral attachment, rear udder and teat placement. She also has a lovely smooth fore. A tremendous doe all in all. Combined with Minstrel Show this is an exceptional breeding with tons of potential.

Breeding Reservations
One of our goals at Flat Rock Farms is to help you acquire the goat that best fits your needs, so both of you have a long and happy relationship. Therefore we do not accept deposits on unborn kids. We feel that no matter how long we've been breeding goats, breeding is not an exact science, and the breeding that looks best on paper might not produce exactly what you are looking for. For that reason we do not want you, our customer, to put money down on an animal that might not fit your needs. Rather, we want you to be able to see the kid you are purchasing, and have confidence that this is the kid for you!
We maintain a list of our breeding's, and who desires what from each breeding. We will be most happy to put your name down on our list for the kid of your choice. Most of our kids are sold off this list, so if you see a breeding you really like be sure to let us know ASAP. When that kid is born we will email you a picture of that kid. At that time you may choose to accept that kid or not. If you decide that you do wish to purchase said kid, a $100 deposit is required to hold your kid of choice for 30 days while transport is arranged. If the deposit is not recieved wtihin 7 days the next person on the list will be offered the animal.
Purchasing Animals
If you would like to purchase an animal we ask for a $100 deposit, paid within 7 days after the sales agreement has been reached. Your deposit will hold your animal of choice for 30 days, while transport arrangements are made. Balance of payment due within that 30 day period, unless an agreement has been reached prior to that date. After 30 days a $2 a day boarding fee will be applied, unless prior arrangments have been made with us. Breeder reserves the right to issue doe only service memos at our discretion on bred animals.
*NOTE* It is the buyers responsibility to stay in touch with Flat Rock Farms. If we do not hear from you after your 30 days deposit period is over, or for any extended period of time, we reserve the right to offer said animal for sale again. This has happened several times this year. Flat Rock Farms is very easy to work with, but we cannot be boarding animals indefinitely for customers we haven't heard from. Boarding charges WILL apply after 30 days.
Terms
Terms are available by special private agreement. Registration papers will not be issued on animals being paid out until all animals in the transaction are paid in full. Thanks for your understanding.
Transportation
Transportation is the responsibility of the buyer, though we will be happy to help when possible. We attend many shows each year, and will happily deliver your Flat Rocks kid free of charge if we are attending a show in your area.
Shipping is also available via American Airlines throughout the United States. A $35 fee will be charged for Health Certificates, and a $25 gas charge if the animal must be delivered to the airport. Animals will be shipped when we deem them ready, and not before. Crates can be maile to us from the buyer, or we can purchase a crate for you here for the appropriate fee.
Guarantees
At Flat Rock Farms we feel that Nigerians are a true miniature dairy breed, and therefore we guarantee the height of all of our stock to the AGS height standards of 23.6 inches for bucks, and 22.4 inches for does. If one of our animals matures over that height limit we will replace it.
Animals are guaranteed healthy and genetically reproductively sound at time of sale. All animals sold out of state will be accompanied by a Health Certificate issued by our vet for the standard fee of $35. Because we cannot control environmental influences and conditions once said animal leaves our property we cannot offer further guarantees.
