We are pleased to announce that Flash has come home! A special thanks to Debbie Giesek for allowing this grand old man to rejoin our herd. Flash is one of the cornerstones of our breeding program. You will find him in the pedigrees of some of our top does. He also has daughters and granddaughters well on their way to their MCH titles, or who have already earned their MCH titles, in several other herds. At 10 years old Flash is slowing down somewhat, but we hope to breed him to several of our best does for Winter 2004, and Spring 2005. **Update: As of 1/2/05 every doe we have attempted to breed Flash to has come back into season, so it appears he is not settling does at this time. Flash will live comfortably in retirement. He has certainly earned it!**

Riptide is a gorgeous young buck who combines correct conformation with dairy character, style and lots of flash! His pedigree includes MCH Piddlin Acres Tiny Bubbles *D as well as the 1999 and 1996 AGS National Champions, MCH Raha Acres Twinks Pixie *D and Willow Creek Tin Lizzie. Although this is an unflattering picture of her, his dam, HopScotch, is a very correct doe with a capacious udder that is attached everywhere. We are looking for style, flash and awesome mammary systems out of this boy!

We acquired Treasure Hunter last fall, and are very pleased that we did so. Every day he grows more like his sire, one of our favorite bucks, Goodwood Maltese Falcon. We have also long admired his dam, Twin Creeks Yuletide Treasure. She is a very small doe who possesses a lovely udder, and has earned 2 Grands, 5 Reserves, and 1 Best Udder award. Hunter is tremendously long, and standing on very straight, extremely strong feet and legs. He is very masculine, and an absolute gentleman, as was his sire. We look forward to crossing Hunter to some of our Gem daughters this fall.
*Treasure has moved on to Gail Young's herd in TN. We wish them the best with Hunter.

Knothead has been a slow buck to mature, and he's been worth the wait. This buck shows tremendous dairy character, coupled with great length of body, and nice width. He has wonderful rear leg angulation, and is standing on correct feet and legs. The udders behind Knothead are some of our best. We are retaining several Knothead daughters in our herd, and will have him collected this fall for farm use. In the near future Knothead will be relocating to his new home at Dream Keeper Farm in VA. Thanks so much Kaycie! We know you'll love him.

We bought Sunshine's dam, Abytal, bred to Falcon and Sunshine was the resulting kid. We were so impressed with her that we went back and bought her sire! Sunshine is a near ideal Nigerian Dwarf doe. She is stylish and elegant yet powerful, deep and long. She also has dynamite udder attachment with nice-size milkable teats. Sunshine finished her MCH in September 2004, at 9 years old and fresh since December 2003. We're extremely proud of this grand old doe!
Sunshine passed on, on December 17, 2004.
Sunshine received her last leg at the 2004 Tri State Fair in Amarillo, TX at the age of 9!

Mystery freshened for the first time last Spring, and we were very pleased with her first freshening udder. It is very widely attached at the rear, with great fore udder extension and nice teats. She is a very powerful doe, while maintaining her dairy character as well.

See her daughters in our herd, Wishbone, Celebration and DotCom. We lost Mania to cancer this Fall. She is greatly missed, and her influence will be felt in our herd for generations to come.

Charismatic is a heavily linebred doe, going back to Willow Creek Bonehead 18 times! She has an unfaultable udder and to date is very consistent in throwing gorgeous kids. Charismatic is a very small doe and could therefore use a little stature, though she is very correct throughout. We lost our Charismatic recently. She is sorely missed!

Scandal was one of our foundation does that had a big impact on our herd. She was a lovely doe, being very deep, wide, and posessing a beautiful udder for her time. Scandal is the dam of Flat Rocks Calico Rose, Flat Rocks Champion Design, and Flat Rocks Treasure, and the granddam of Flat Rocks Bless Her Heart, Flat Rocks Sweet Reward, and Flat Rocks Knucklehead. She appears further back in many of our pedigrees as well. We lost Scandal many years ago to cancer. I can only imagine the impact she would have had if we had not lost her in her middle years.

This is Willow Creek Bonehead. She was one of our original does, the first goat I ever picked out for myself, and will always be my absolute favorite. Bonehead was a truly exceptional doe in her day. Her bloodline runs very heavily in our herd. She is the dam of MCH Flat Rocks Surprise, Flat Rocks Bless Her Heart, Flat Rocks Kricket, and Flat Rocks Knucklehead. Boney had a dynamite udder, that she passed on to all of her offspring. Bonehead died of old age in her sleep in Dec, 2001, and we miss her still. Of all the things I can say about this doe, the best is this, she was my friend

See Hope's Master Champion daughter, ARMCH Flat Rocks Faith *D on the American Goat Society web page. Hope will be bred to MCH Ponders End Minstrel Show for March kids, in a repeat of the breeding that produced our lovely junior doe, Flat Rocks Oh Dear.

Ruth is one of our favorite does! She is a 3/4 sister to our MCH (pending) MK Sunshine. Ruthie is a small doe, standing only 18 inches. She has excellent shoulders, length, and great depth, combined with stellar dairy character. Her udder is just glued on with a huge area of attachment, and is holding up well into her later years. Her teats are large and plumb. Ruth will be bred to Flat Rocks Gem for late Spring kids.
